ISO 14001 Certification Services

ISO 14001 is an International Standard that contains the requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS). Now it's more important than ever to reduce our environmental impact and achieve greener and more sustainable operations with an effective EMS.

Overview

The International Standards Corporation can support you with accredited ISO 14001 certification services.

Gap Analysis

The gap analysis is a way to identify the extent to which your organization already meets the requirements of ISO 14001, to identify weak and critical areas, and to set the stage for a targeted implementation of the standard. Based on the results of the gap analysis, a certifiable EMS is set up. We will work with you to define the scope of your EMS, conduct the gap analysis according to your needs, and provide you with a report outlining any areas that aren't meeting the ISO 14001 requirements and recommendations for improvement.

Certification and Assessment

ISO 14001 certification assessment is conducted in two stages. Stage 1 is an initial appraisal of your system and review of documents; it is usually performed remotely. Stage 2 is the assessment of your EMS to verify its effective implementation and compliance with ISO 14001 requirements. Stage 2 is usually conducted on-site. The duration of the two-stage assessment will depend on the size and complexity of your organization and the maturity of your EMS. Once you achieved ISO 14001 certification, we conduct regular surveillance audits to verify the ongoing effectiveness of your management system.

Integrated Assessment

Organizations with other management systems in addition to ISO 14001 (for example, ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 22000 food safety, ISO 45001 occupational health and safety) can avoid duplication through a coordinated assessment, saving time and reducing costs.
